Wow, the Alltrax XCT400 is not cheap. I think I may be staying at 22MPH.

No good motor controller is cheap. The Alltrax is one of the most reasonably priced controllers on the market, but yes it's still a chunk of change.

I just did the same thing on my 2008 clubcar precedent and I get 21 mph same as before only it takes a little longer to get to that speed.
I see a upgrade in the very near future. (wife approved)

Luckily the only approval process I have to go through is my own. Whether it has a good ROI. My wife may roll her eyes but she typically doesn't stop me. But getting your wife's approval is probably a great idea. Or she may be the one riding around your newly upgraded CC without you.
