Default EZGO 97 model DCS

Removed defective 1206sx controller , installed new DCX 400 with new solenoid contactor . also installed new cables , have checked my wiring several times , led on controller does not light up . Need help !

Found pin 9 wire at reverse interlock 4 wire connection corroded no continuity . Repaired 4 wire connection.

Since the LED on the DCX400 does not illuminate, the solenoid will not click.

To get the LED to illuminate, you have to have the B- cable from the battery pack connected to the B- terminal on the controller and Pack voltage applied to Pins 6, 9 & 10.

Once you have that, applying pack voltage to Pin-5 will tell the controller to energize the solenoid.

Here is a schematic of a DCX in a DCS cart.
