Default PDS / Non PDS motors

I have a 2010 EZGO PDS 36 volt motor and it is dead. I picked up a non PDS motor can I replace the PDS motor with the non-PDS motor?

Sure, if you want to change the motor controller & Forward/reverse switch to "non-PDS". The two types of motor & controller are fundamentally incompatible. PDS is a "seperately excited" motor system. "Non-pds" is a "series wound" motor system.

You can send in your PDS motor and have it rebuilt.

I guess better be certain the replacement motor I have is a Non-PDS motor. I am assuming The PDS motor is A1A2F1 &F2 and the non-PDS terminals are A1, A2, S1 & S2, is this correct?

Not exactly. Maybe a good description of your cart and drive system would be better. Or, some pictures would be better still.
The F designation stood for "Field" it has been replaced with the S designation. They could be the same type of motor, only one being older than the other.
Here's a decent guide: http://www.golfcarcatalog.com/golf-c...-cart-motor-2/

You can easily tell the difference by looking into the motor itself.
