cart lunges full throttle in forward and reverse....

I have a 06 ds iq with alltrax dcx 500 controller and cart has recently just lurches to full throttle with pedal depressed..in forward and reverse....will peel out on gravel....seems to just want to run full tilt? any suggestions?[/

Check your throttle settings. Once I accidentally selected a 0 to 5k setting instead of 5k to 0 CC setting

thanks, but I had installed controller 2 years ago and these symptoms just appeared out of no where.....

I have not heard of the Alltrax controllers loosing their configuration, but if it did, that could certainly cause an issue.

If You plug the software it will also allow you to monitor the throttle input percentage so You can see what is happening.

The only other thing to try is to remove the 3-pin connector from the MCOR to see if the MCOR is somehow causing the problem.

all points appear to faulty MCRO at this point???...according to installation for alltrax controllers speed sensor to stock motor remains disconnected..

It could also be an interface board, controller issue or short in the MCOR harness.

If You disconnect the 3-pin connector and the cart still goes full speed when You press the pedal and close the micro switch on the 2-pin connector, then the issue is not the MCOR.
