Any stampings on led posts or on top of battery case? Any stickers on top or side of case?

Bold print up there should tell him he needs batteries.

I load tested the batteries last nite and they were at 41volts under load for the pack he has two batteries that are only reading 7.9 after charging and the rest are at 8 to 8.1 volts, I told him that he needs new batteries he has only had the cart for a few days so he is going to go back to the dealer he got it from to get the pack replaced. There are no stamps or stickers on the batteries.

I was thinking that these were possibly the batteries that clubcar used a few years ago when they replaced bad packs in some of the 12v battery carts wasn't sure.

What year is the cart, and is it a DS or Precedent?

Those batteries are just good enough to get by for a couple of years. That's my opinion. They're built for fleet usage for a couple of years. After that, it doesn't matter if they fail or not. I've had thousands of experiences with inadequate batteries and they're at the top of the list. Buy some Trojan T-875s and be done with it.

Thanks for all the replies, I spoke to the guy that bought the cart today. The cart is a 2012 precedent he is going to go back to the dealer on monday and get the batteries changed out. Even after a full 13 hour charge the pack was barely reading 48v (his words not mine) he then hitched up the fluke meter I let him borrow across the pack and took it for a ride to load test after a full charge he said the pack almost immediately dropped to 42-43v on flat stretch of pavement. I told him to go back to dealer with those numbers the batteries are toast.
