Default ???? On getting a new motor

I have a 2002 pds with an alltrax 400 amp controller and hd solenoid. 2 gauge cable installed. I am currently running 25" tires and want to be able to run 28's in the future. I use my cart for yard work and hunting. I have a few hills to climb on the trails and need to be able to climb the hills with 2 adults and a deer or hauling corn to trail cams. I still have the stock motor of now and running 36 volt pack with a 12v battery running all other electrics. It is wired in so it charges when plugged in. Will also be replacing batteries when motor is replaced. Thanks in advance.

I'm surprised the stock PDS motor has survived the workload the 25" tires places on it.

Going to 28" tires will up the 28% increased workload of 25" tires to 36%.

Personally, I'd up the pack voltage to 48V and install a high torque motor, like a D&D 502-0001 or ES-63-49.

Give Scotty at Carts Unlimited (http://www.cartsunlimited.net/) a call, he is a D&D dealer and has access to the information needed to select the right motor for that setup.
