I believe the op stated he had an Alltrax and I guess I assumed it was a DCX. They use different maps for PDS and DCS correct?

This is just a cart I'm playing with. No special need for it.

If the Alltrax controller is a DCX (No speed senor input) and Field Map # 4 was loaded for the PDS motor, you will have to load Field Map #3 to run the DCS motor.

An otherwise stock PDS cart with an Alltrax controller of the DCX family of controllers with Field Map #4 firmware loaded, will have a top speed about 24 MPH on 18" tall tires and will have fairly decent amount of torque.

If the PDS motor is replaced by a DCS motor and Field Map #3 in loaded into the DCX controller, the resulting cart will have a top speed of about 20 MPH on 18" tall tires and will have noticeably more torque.

Contact Alltrax or an Alltrax vendor to get the correct Field map for the motor and instructions how loading it into the DCX controller.

Simply questions tend to have complex answers when all the pertinent information isn't known.

Sonny, which Alltrax controller is being used?
