I don't trust the voltmeter either. Buying another tomorrow.
6 ea Trojan t875 from late 2014. Fluid levels are good in all batts. The cart actually drove fine today, though I only rode it for 5 min because I don't trust it. The solenoid didn't have sporadic clicking today. Could it also be possible that the batteries went completely dead while sitting in the garage for nearly two weeks off of charge due to the tripped GFCI outlet? |

In my opinion batteries are fine. Measuring 8.4v and 8.1v under load.
The cart drives, and the problem is intermittent. When pushing the throttle, solenoid clicks, and if you let off of the throttle, there's about a five or six second delay in when the solenoid clicks again to shut off. You can be cruising full speed and all of a sudden the cart stops pulling, then kicks in again, and this may or may not repeat itself for several minutes while riding. |
