Re: 2004 Club Car DS wont charge or move
Just for reassurance on DIY issue #2- pls check the voltage at the (inside of) the charger socket. There is a red wire that falls onto or below the battery frame when you pull batteries. It's easy to ignore/forget. As for checking the charger - the quickest & simplest way is to plug it into a different cart (AKA friends & neighbors)? Otherwise read HERE The "tries to move" statement suggests really low voltage - what is the total pack voltage reading currently?

Re: 2004 Club Car DS wont charge or move
I bypassed it and installed a new one both ways didn't do anything. My pack voltage is low 33v drops to 24v when gas petal is pressed. I was going to try charging the batteries individually with a 12v charger but the leaks from my charger were getting really hot so I pulled if off the battery.

Re: 2004 Club Car DS wont charge or move
Cart will never move and charger won't start at 33 volts. Look up how to jumper the relay in the charger. Those batteries are suffering.

Re: 2004 Club Car DS wont charge or move
Good news. Yes a jumpered relay means charger will never shut off. You can let it get to 60v without damage to batteries.

Re: 2004 Club Car DS wont charge or move
You know there's likely nothing wrong with the relay or the charger...right? The obc is designed NOT to charge if it sees less than 42v because it assumes battery damage or wiring faults. If you've kept the new obc installed, you can un-jumper the relay when you reach a relatively stable 48v and the whole system will/should work together like it was designed. But if you've returned the obc, then you can look for a smart charger which works with a bypassed obc.
