Extreme Running Conditions
As I sit here with sweat running down my face I'm wondering what the great minds here think about running my DS in extreme weather conditions. Specifically, as in my case, what special considerations should be taken above the normal when running a cart in temperatures exceeding 110deg F on a daily basis? Charging a cart when even overnight it doesn't get much below 90deg F, etc?

Re: Extreme Running Conditions
Sorry, that sucks [weatherwise] man. Can't help you with that extreme, if you were talking the other one [below 0 F] I could help. Given the choice with your conditions, I would park the cart in the shade near a air conditioned bar and stay there until the weather breaks. Better safe than sorry!

Re: Extreme Running Conditions
If the golf courses in your area let the carts out on the extremes days, I don't see why you can't take yours out.
I wouldn't have mine out though....not for the carts sake, for my own!!! |

Re: Extreme Running Conditions
Just make sure you have a cooler strapped in with plenty of ice and beer. Better safe than sorry in those conditions.

Re: Extreme Running Conditions
I spent a few months back and forth to Phoenix back in the early 2000's
when you get off that plane and the "WALL" of heat hits you, it doesn't matter if it's a dry heat or not.... ITS' FLIPPING HOT.....PERIOD!!! |
