Rebuilt controllers DO NOT have a very good reputation. Next one you buy make sure its a new one like an Alltrax AXE. Check your armature and feild to see it they have continuity....not likely but it won't hurt to check.
What is your voltage?

Disconnect the 4 wires from the motor, labeling them of course, and measure for shorts or any resistance between the posts on the motor and the case of the motor.

There should be NO resistance between the case and any of the posts unless there is a large amount of carbon encased inside the motor in the "brushes end". The carbon can usually be cleaned out.

Yes, but was in the garage. No damage to it and it did not get wet

I have a 2006 bad boy buggy either I have a bad contoller or a bad contractor, don't want to buy both does anyone know what the coil voltage on the contractor should be?
