Default 1995 ezgo medalist...series..wiring question

Daughters ezgo has bad f and r switch.. I am replacing it. The original also had the reverse buzzer and feed to the controller via the orange wire disconnected.
I am pretty sure I can rewire correctly but I want to be sure that when reverse is selected the microswitch energizes the buzzer and applies 36 volts to orange wire to controller to keep reverse from going to fast. Any help would be appreciated. The schematic does look like 36 volts via the blue wire but want to be sure.

Take pictures, and label the cables and wires. You'll be fine.

Thanks for reply...What has me a little confused is that this cart does not have charger receptacle interlock and the schematics all show this feature. this cart has a blue wire from hot side of solenoid and a blue wire from key switch instead of red from interlock and blue from key switch.

It probably doesn't have the interlock. It probably has the SB50 charge receptacle plug instead of the Power wise plug. I think they changed that in 96 after the medalist.

Many people opted to bypass the charger interlock when it failed. Ezgo discontinued this type of interlock in 2005. Many people mistook this as an omission of the safety interlock when in fact Ezgo went to a different type of controller interlock.
You may find your F&R micro-switch (ms) + power connected to the main battery +. The orange wire activated the controller's reduced reverse speed.
