RXV Battery Conversion 12v to 8v Tray
Been reading several posts regarding converting from 4 12v to 6 8v. Thought I read where you can use a battery tray built for a TXT on the RXV for the six 8v? That true? Does it require modifications or just drop in? Does EZGO build a battery tray for this swap? Nothing listed for EZGO, only after market trays.

Re: RXV Battery Conversion 12v to 8v Tray
I only use the real ezgo tray for RXV for that swap. Never tried a TXT tray, but I suppose it might be "moddable" to work. Yes, ezgo offers a tray for that RXV setup. Sorry, don't have a part number at hand, don't have "all the ezgo parts" at hand like I do for Yamaha. Sorry. I don't think a good conversion is possible in the stock "12v tray". But the correct tray is available. Also, cutting the stock tray is miserable, due to the glass fibers it contains. Real nasty stuff.

The part number for the rack is 627656. There is a kit that has the rack and all of the hardware and hold downs but I can't seem to locate that info right now
