Default Alltrax SR48400 Wiring

First off, I apologize for my ignorance. I recently had a 2000 TXT rolling chassis given to me. The problem is when the PO removed all the components he did not take the wires loose at the nuts, he cut them all. I thought, eh no problem I will just get the wiring diagrams and all new stuff and build it how I want. Well I ordered the #1 Ezgo kit form ScottyB and it has all arrived. I started on my build and have run into a couple problems that I don't understand. First: I hooked up all the big wires to the controller and FnR switch just like in Scotty's diagram but then I looked at two other diagrams ( Alltrax and Series Motor Wiring that I got off this site) Scotty's says to put A1 on the top stud the others say A1 is supposed to go to controller M-. Second the 4 wires pictured are from the throttle pedal, where do I connect these on the controller.
The way I have it all wired now is, A2 - M-, A1 - Top Post, B+ - Bottom Post, S1 - Left Post, S2 - Right Post

Follow the wiring diagram you got from Scotty. I had the same question when I installed my Alltrax. I don’t know enough to know why, but apparently there are a couple different ways it can be wired. The supplied diagram should show the four smaller wires too. If you do it all like his diagram, you’ll be fine.

Jamie, I am getting ready to get the same controller you have and believe according to the schematic WalterM6 posted there is a note between the solenoid and reverse beeper that reads "Recommended, move solenoid neg from controller B- to relay coil-"
I must add that I am very new to reading schematics so take my response accordingly.

Jamie, sorry, but I’m not at my cart until tomorrow. Just checked my phone for pics, but I don’t have any that show it. Does it not say on the diagram? Scotty will probably see this soon, or one of the other experts. Can you post a picture of the diagram in the meantime?

Ok, so I have check, rechecked and redone all the wiring....nothing. The solenoid is not clicking at all. I checked the key switch and I have no power going to it. where does the switch get its power from? That would stop the solenoid from working, correct?

Edit: I forgot to mention that it is a Freedom so it has headlights and taillights which I would like to get rid of.

I had this in my subscribed threads. I’m on my phone, so can’t see the pics too well, but it should help you. Are you using scotty’s diagram, or the one that came with the controller? Scotty’s was a lot easier for me to follow.

Not sure of the easiest way to search but there’s been recent posts by Scotty that have a diagram showing all of the smaller wires that have to have 36v for the solenoid to click.

You want to remove your lights, or just move them away from the factory 12v source?

ok, you have 3 red wires coming from your small terminal, I only have two. where do yours go? Also, it looks like you have your black going to J4 and your white going to J5 mine is the other way around.
and I am wanting to completely get rid of the headlights and taillights, I will be installing led light bars for hunting.
