Update: I ignored the color labels on the wiring diagrams and just followed left/right lines for where they were shown to land...and she’s running 😬

Sounds like he is also lacking some wires. Diagram should solve all of this.

OP needs to read the wiring diagram and make sure he has a wire of any color connected to and from the correct spots on the cart wiring diagram. The OP is stuck on wire colors on a cart that was modified and likely no longer has stock wire colors.
