Just follow the steps I gave you in that guide to break them in and you will have a good healthy (strong) pack for many years to come...

Well, the new solenoid arrived. The old one looked very old, probably the original. Swapped them out, and no change. Solenoid still clicks in forward, does not click in reverse, and cart does not move either direction.

So I began to take apart the F/R switch. Right away I noticed that the thick white wire that goes from the motor to the bottom of the F/R switch was melted on the end, and also very rusty. The switch itself was also melted in the area.

Could the melted wire and switch cause the cart not to move in forward, or reverse? I’m beginning to wonder if it’s more than the switch, and possibly the controller?

I have attached photos. Ill be looking for somewhere to buy the white wire that goes from the motor to switch, and I’ll be ordering a new HD F/R switch today.

Had the same problem with mine. New F/R switch is the fix. No need to buy a new white wire. I'd just buy a new terminal end, clip and strip the existing wire and crimp on the new terminal end.

You may have to replace that white wire.
It got quite hot and you may have to take it back 4 inches to get good copper to work with.
It then may be too short.

Just ordered a HD F/R switch. The white wire has some extra length to it. I may try to cut it back and put a new end on it.

Really hoping the cart will run after this!

I thought we already established a few days ago the FNR was shot....?

But anyway, yes the wire will need to be cut/repaired or replaced and with the new FNR switch you will be rolling again....

Yes, we did! But I had already ordered a solenoid and was waiting for it to get here and install it to see if it would change anything before ordering the new F/R. Thanks for the help!

Just double checked, the wire is long enough. Already cut it back and will be putting a new terminal ring on it.

Perfect... You will be rolling again with the new switch. Yours was just completely worn out and the contacts and cams were not making up...
