Ignition polarity
I'm installing a new light kit and I believe my ignition is wired with negative leads. Any ideas on how to check/test?

Re: Ignition polarity
The Ezgo key switch should be + polarity. Use a multi meter to test polarity.
1. Set the meter to DC voltage and place the black test lead on the battery main - post and the red lead on the key switch source. The voltage should read the same as pack. 2. If no voltage present swap leads and move the battery test lead to the main + terminal and recheck. What do you get in positions #1 and 2 ? Meter use explained here > http://www.cartsunlimited.net/troubleshooting-tips.html |
