Re: 2001 ezgo txt electric "no go"
The batteries are connected in series, so the most negative point (B-) is the negative terminal that has a cable that connects to the controller. See attached drawing.

B- and B+ is the pack negative and pack positive. Look where the black and white charger wires go, and the black will be B-.

Re: 2001 ezgo txt electric "no go"
I tested the throttle, as described. According to the manual, i am to get around 1 volt at start and at wide open, it should be around 2.7 volts. I got 14.6 volts at start and 14.0 at wide open.
Also, i checked the diagnostic beeps and the results were 2-4, 2 beeps followed by 4 beeps. This repeated until I turned it back to tow mode |

Quote:
Disconnect the black and white wires from the ITS sensor in the pedal box and disconnect J4 from controller. Check the black and white wires for continuity and for shorts between them. 2. 2-4 is the error code for a solenoid coil failure or disconnected. Is the solenoid clicking when pedal is pushed? |

Re: 2001 ezgo txt electric "no go"
CORRECTION-- the diagnostic code was 2-3....not 2-4. Apologies.
Also, no, i didnt test the throttle like that. I tested it the way the link described http://www.buggiesgonewild.com/elect...e-testing.html Also, I re-tested, as you described, and all the voltages were within spec ( 14.7V on the white wire, black wire had 1.0v at part throttle and 2.6v at full throttle) Full continuity on both black.and white wires. Solenoid still clicks but cart doesnt move. |

Re: 2001 ezgo txt electric "no go"
2-3 is thermal cutback.
You get 38V between B- and A1 terminals on controller and the throttle input to controller is correct, so the controller is being told to increase the duty cycle on the MOSFETs and isn't doing it, so the controller is bad. Replace the stock controller with a user programmable Alltrax XCT48400-PDS or large and your cart will do upwards on 24MPH on stock height (18") tires with a 36V battery pack. http://www.cartsunlimited.net/alltrax-xct-sepex--.html |
