Default Brake lights

This may sound like a crazy question, but I have a 2002 club car with a headlight kit. The taillights are LED’s. If I install a brake light switch, how do they work when you turn the headlights on? I’m use to a taillight having two bulbs or having a two filament bulb. All these taillights have are 12 little led lights. And what do you do if I install a turn signal kit?
