Default Re: 1997 DCS not getting power at key switch

This cart is killing me as i'm electrically challenged. The resistor is smoking hot when i went to do these test after it has been sitting for a few days with nothing on or plugged in.

The battery pack is reading 38.4 volts.

The B+ (with the multimeter on the Neg) was getting 37.9. ( now its not getting anything after doing other tests)

The pin 10 (red/yel with the multimeter on the Neg) is getting 38.4

The pin 9 (Red with the mulitmeter on the Neg) is getting 38.4

The pin 5 (green with the mulitmetet on the neg and the acc pressed) is getting 0 and the soleniod is not clicking.

No voltage on the small terminals of the solenoid.

Thats the guide I was following and got to step 4 and no solenoid click and nothing on step 5. I jumped the forward switch ( cut the switch off and twisted the wires together) so looking at the diagram maybe the key switch is bad or the run-tow switch is bad?
