Good stuff. It sounds like you’re getting it done the right way.

Just a suggestion, download and print the repair manual for your cart. I kept the binder with me in the garage and referenced it quite a bit during my rebuild.

Good advice. The Service Parts manual is also good. There's also an Owner's Manual, all in the Stickies.

Well, I made it to the welder today to drop the chassis off. The guy is pretty sure of himself and questioned me at great leangth about what I wanted and proceeded to point out issues with my frame. I told him to fix it and I would pay him then take it to get blasted. Then he looked at me and told me he really wished I had it blasted before hwe welds it. I said OK. He told me about his buddy the blaster. The welder said the blasting would uncover all of the metal he needs to repair. So, it is at the blaster who said he would get it to me by the weekend maybe. He works in the oil patch so he blasts and paints at night and on days off.

Got fasteners on order from Fastenal.

Got parts on order from DIY Golf Carts.
