Hi all. I am still trying to work out the kinks in a non working 2009 rxv cart. It was dead but I found that replacing the charge harness gave it some life. At this time I just have the coil of the brake plugged in as the brake was bad but the coil is still good. I realize it will not work without it but want to make sure the rest is ok before I buy a new brake. When I turn the key to anything but off it keeps beeping. Is that because it failed the brake test or some other test or is it a sign of something really bad? It does engage the solenoid and rocks the cart. Thanks for all your help.

And when the cart rocks, it fails the motor twist test part of the brake test. Replace the motor brake with an OEM brake only. Never use a HD (Heavy Duty) motor brake on an RXV. Search for and follow the motor brake install procedures, otherwise you risk damaging your new motor brake in short order.
