Default Another Reed switch question

So I just bought a project. There is no charge port, so there is no reed switch. How can I get this thing to move?

Bueller, Bueller??
Anyone, have any idea.
I installed 6 new batteries, hooked them up, with plans on installing a charging receptacle later.
Looking at the Wiring diagram is shows the reed switch completes the circuit. I just need to know how to complete the circuit without a reed switch.

What year, what model? We can then look up the wiring diagram to direct you where battery voltage should be applied to the controller to make it work.

BTW, I bypassed the solenoid and it still didn't move. Im really at a loss here. Does that read switch go from the positive side of the charging receptacle then directly to the F&R relay? That would mean the relay would be getting 36V and that doesn't seem right does it. My unit does not have a Tow/Maint switch either.

As I am sure most of you can tell, I am new to golf carts and needing guidance.

Here’s a wiring diagram. The solenoid activation circuit is highlighted.

For future reference, you have a series cart. That's the drive type.

That great thanks.

So I put a wire from the positive side of the battery pack directly to the F&R relays.
Its drove perfectly. Drove it for about 10 mins around the blocks to see what my next fix would be (suspension)

Got back in the garage and the 4 wires that are on that F&R unit are EXTREMELY hot!

Why would they be hot?

Bad cables or a bad F/R switch.

You should fully charge a new pack of batteries before you drive the cart.

Noticed a ton of corrosion on the switch. When to pull the switch out and clean the posts and 3 of the 4 posts just broke off. So new switch it is!
