Default What can this be???

Hey Guys,

In the process of fixing up a cart that i purchased second hand. I have replaced the Leaf Springs with Heavy Duty Dual Action and have removed the Shocks in an effort to troubleshoot. I am still noticing this noise at low speeds coming from the rear drivers side wheel of a 2008 RXV 48v. I am thinking maybe a Hub or something. What are your thoughts? At the moment, I cannot break the lugs to get the wheel off to inspect further...still working on that.

Thanks for taking a look. Here is a video of the sound.

Wheel bearing. Will have to remove wheel, hub, and retaining snap ring. Axle shaft can slide out, with bearing attached. Bearing has a part number that will cross-reference at the auto parts store (be sure to get the sealed version, not open). There are many threads with ideas how to get the bearings on and off, but don't "beat it on" by the outer bearing race.

I had a feeling... Now to read up and figure out how to do the swap.

Question for you... I am reading while i am doing the repair to also replace the differential oil. What is recommended as the replacement oil and what is the process to do the oil change?

Thanks in advance.

There is a sticky thread just above here that says axle bearing and seal replacement. It should answer all of your questions. I just did this a few weeks ago.
