Default Ezgo rxv heavy duty motor brake

Will the heavy duty motor brakes work on the 2014 rxv. I read where certain year carts controllers dont like the higher resistance reading it gives. I just replaced the one on my cart last year with a regular item one from ebay the internals look brand new still. I'd like to just replace the coil in it but cant find one. Coil in this one has a very small space you can see windings I think moisture may be getting in there causing my brake to lock down while driving.

The Curtis controllers can handle a HD brake.

Ok I'll give one of those a try. These oem brakes on jacked up carts dont seem to last long.

Only use OEM HD brake part number 617766. No aftermarket brakes. OEM brake will come in a box with a "pro-fit" label, that's how they come from Ezgo, and pro-fit is a ezgo brand.

Ok I'll make sure thats what I get. I'm still not 100% sure it's the brake or just something got wet and made it lock up when I washed it off.
