Default First cart and need to verify type of motor and controls for upgrade

Good afternoon,
New guy to the forum and to golf carts here...

I recently purchased a club car to use at my hunt camp in Georgia and it didnt take long to smoke the motor going up and down the ridges and bottoms there. Im trying to order a new control/motor package and I would like to run it by all you guys to verify what I think I have now as I am completely new to the golf cart world.

Here is what I know;
MY cart is a 2001 club car ds
Serial number is A0105 986544

I believe I have a series set up due to the following:
The motor is a 3.1 hp with 4 lugs all matching size labeled A1 A2 S1 S2
there is no speed sensor wiring exiting the motor case
There are heavy guage motor current carrying cables attached to the FNR switch,
It has an Alltrax AXE controller
It has an MCOR module for the speed sensing
The OBC has been bypassed
it is a 48V cart
Its lifted and has larger offroad tires and will be used exclusively for hunting traveling up steep grades and rough terrain and speed more than 8 mph really isnt needed....but lots of torque is....without smoking anything else.

So here is what I think I need.

A larger high torque series motor approx. 10 hp
An upgraded Alltrax SR controller capable of 600 amps
An upgraded heavy duty solenoid for max amp load
replace the piece of crap FNR switch with interlocked F/R contactors selected with a rocker switch
2g cable package to replace the 4g that is there currently

ANy and all input, information, suggestions, corrections will be highly appreciated. I am getting ready to spend about $1500 dollars on all of this and I want to make sure I am getting what I need.

Thanks for looking.

Sounds right to me.
SR control, SW202, @g cables, and MOT-A1 or better should do you solid.

You won’t be disappointed. I made the conversion with the help of Scotty B, except I went Alltrax SR48500 with an AMD BEAST motor. Almost 3 years later no issues at all. Strictly for hunting, but still amazes the neighbors with the torque and speed it has.

Get the HD reversing contractor if you haven’t already........
