Club Car 2007 DS IQ Battery Questions
I am working on a 2007 DS IQ that I am trying to restore. It has several cables with rusted off ends but am trying to piece it together with help of wiring diagrams etc. This cart was modified at one time with a lift. Anyway I am having confusion on things hooked to batteries. It has 4 12 volt batteries and it looks like a wire from charger receptacle probably ran to one battery and a wire from Controller to another battery but not sure. And there is a long red 6 gauge wire running from Solenoid to who knows where? Looks to have a rusted out flat battery terminal connector on it but in all diagrams I am seeing I can’t account for a third wire. I am pretty clueless. Any help appreciated. Thanks

to BGW
Below is the wiring diagram for your cart. The positive cable coming from the solenoid goes to main battery positive, as does the 10 gauge red wire from the charging receptacle. There should be a 6 gauge black cable running from the controller B- lug to main battery negative, passing through the OBC. https://www.buggiesgonewild.com/atta...7&d=1376565437 |

Re: Club Car 2007 DS IQ Battery Questions
Thank you so much! Now can I ask another question? Looks like all cables are 6 gauge. On the 3 cables that connect battery to battery do they need to be 6 gauge also since cable coming from Solenoid to battery and the cable from Controller that ends up connected to battery both look to be 6 gauge?

Ask away!
Yes, all of the high amp cables need to be at least 6 gauge. |
