Default Automatic battery watering systems

Due to difficulty with arthritic hands making it hard to check battery water, I was thinking about adding an auto watering system. Good/ bad idea? Any recommendations?
Thanks
Mike

With what you have going on, you can do it.

https://www.flowsystemsusa.com/batte...vent-caps.html. I have found that this type of cap workers good for my arthritis hands.

Recently got one in that had all four 12V batteries exploded, and customer complained it was VERY LOUD. Watering system will basically act as a fuse to connect the bombs. One battery internally shorting to explode takes all four out.

They're not maintenance free as one would expect. It's not intended to be used on new batteries and requires regular cleaning/inspection since the floats tend to stick often. They're great if you manage a fleet of, say, 150 cars and need it done in a day. For a regular customer, however, it's more headache than convenience.

Ive done numerous fleets and I would never have that system on. I can do a better job and faster watering by hand.
