Re: 2010 EZ-GO TXTE-48V Will Not start after Charging, but runs after 10min wait
Thank you for that!
Our garage is by code not "attached" to our home. It is under the same roof, although there is a breezeway between the actual garage and the home. |

Problem solved, Done, Hardwired.
Any use for that 3rd center wire? The cable only had 2 wires, but is it possible to use that 3rd wire from the charger? Does it have a use for my gold cart, for the 3 prong triangle plug? All I did was cut it, tape it, and tie it out of the way. |

For different carts. You need 2 and if it is working you are good.

Re: 2010 EZ-GO TXTE-48V Will Not start after Charging, but runs after 10min wait
I remember the original charger that came with the cart TXT, used the 3rd wire for something.
But DPI told me it is not needed for their charger. Was just wondering if there was a use for the 3rd wire, only DPI did not see a need for it for sales purposes. Wondering if there was a use for it maybe a mod would have been made to bring it back into play. |

3rd wire is the trigger for the charger control board. Don’t need it now

Re: 2010 EZ-GO TXTE-48V Will Not start after Charging, but runs after 10min wait
So, what was that other one for?
(Hint: battery temp) Tell us any other data it does, I'd be interested to know what other data it does that you know about (there is more than just temp data). My Delta-q programmer doesnt work with those chargers, only QuiQ. Please share the data & how to get it. Those chargers have a separate port that I cant use (it's a edge connector on the board) I want to learn more, because I deal with QE & SC-48 every day. The typical Delta-q data connection is actually done through the charger B+ & B- connections, amazingly (and it works great). |
