Looks like someone used a piece of copper bar for the connection.

Put your 2awg cable where that copper bar is and get rid of it.

I just done the same thing to my RXV today. I left the copper bar in place and put the 2 ga wire on top of that. I was wondering if that was right.

But let it be known, that copper "link" was the factory link, and not someone's "rig job". USGI, do you think it is that bad? I think its plenty capable, but its fitment could be better. I've never known it to cause problems.

You guys look at it & think "that's some house pipes smashed flat & used", but it's less "ghetto" than that.

I'm certainly not saying a nice short cable wouldnt "look more proper", and I agree with that, but, I've not once seen a bit of issue with that solid copper bar transmitting power.

(I have not done "circular mills" or any conversion, to do its direct comparison with battery cable size).

If the answer is "well, 6g cables 'transfer power too' ", please elaborate with details.

cgtech the man bought a set of 2awg battery cables and was asking where to put it. Now for the copper bar leave it on or not? I would replace it because he has a brand new 2awg cable to replace it with that came in a set that he bought.

There is nothing wrong or bad about that bar. They came on a lot of the RXV carts. I just don't see why you would have both of them on.

Oh, duplicity was the question? I'm sorry I screwed that up. If I had a awesome new cable to put in that spot, well, why not. I thought the og part was in question. I'd go with a good cable instead in that instance, because of the flex/movement it offers over the bar. I thought the capability was the issue/question. Sorry. Couldnt see the forest through the trees.
