Recap/Update:

Checked/tightened all connections, no luck

Both pedal plungers replaced, no luck

New solenoid, no luck

New motor brake, no luck

Unplugged and re-seated big controller plug, no luck

New charging port/harness (thinking blue wire failed somewhere I couldn't determine), no luck



Out of pure frustration, and before shopping for a new controller, I decided to unplug everything and squirt contact cleaner on anything/everything I could...starting at dash working backwards.

SUCCESS! $4 can of contact cleaning spray, one squirt on both sides of run plug and the **** thing works flawlessly. UGH.

So, lesson learned. Seems like such a simple machine. For a guy who has completely restored two cars, built an airplane in his garage, and flys airliners for a living...humbling experience.

On the plus side, the drivetrain of this cart is basically brand new, except the actual motor, harness and controller.

On a standard/stock wiring harness, what are the two spade connectors for up by the key switch and battery gauge?

My cart has no accessories like lights, power plugs, etc. The spades are just sitting there.

Wiring diagram shows two, but I'm not sure where they are located. Purple - Brake Light Switch, Red - Brake light relay.
