Default 2000 Club Car Charging Receptacle

I’m upgrading a 2000 Club Car DS from 36 volt resistor style to 48 volt solid state. Will the original “Crows Foot” style charging port work charging to 48 volts or would it need to be replaced as well? Thanks.

Crows foot port will work just fine.
You can use just about any charging port you want.

Thanks for the quick response! Do they make a plug-in adapter from the crow foot to a 3 prong power drive style charger plug? I actually have a 48 volt power drive charger I’d like to use.

You won’t be able to use a Powerdrive charger unless you also install an OBC in the cart. Then you will have to have the 3 pin round receptacle because the OBC requires the 3rd wire to operate.
The Powerdrive is nothing but a brick without the OBC, and neither one does you any good without the other.

Which model number Powerdrive is it?
