Default Speed Magnet

Not sure if my motor can accept it, but...

Would a larger magnet help to speed up my 2018 JE18 that's set to code 4?

Thanks

No..A speed magnet won't work on your year cart...Speed code 4 is the best you can do without changing the controller/motor to get more speed...

Ok thanks.

Been also looking at a Bandit motor rebuild on mine by Plum Quick.
They claim I would get 25-28mph.

With a 2018 cart & motor, I would go with an Alltrax XCT48400 controller first. Your motor will work fine with it and you will still get 25-28mph and a lot more torque. With stock controller and a Bandit upgrade, you won't get same performance upgrade due to weak 250A controller. I'm not knocking Plum Quick at all. I love the Bandit upgraded motor on a budget and I have an Executioner on my cart. But, controller first!! IMHO
