Default Tires and Rims

Hi everyone. Looking for some suggestions. I have a 2001.5 Club Car DS 48V with an All Sport 6” Lift Kit. I am looking to replace my 23” tall tires with something more stable with less side to side sway. We drive this on the road mostly. I am guessing I need to add a larger rim with lower profile tires. Any recommendations that won’t break the bank?

If you have side to side sway it is more likely caused by alignment and not the tires. Start by jacking up the front end and shaking the tire left to right and up and down. There shouldn't be any excess movement.

I’ll give it a try, thanks. I still want to swap the rims and tires out to reduce the sidewall height. I may consider spacers as well to push the rims and tires out a little. Figured it would be similar to an SUV. Wider stance as lower profile tires limit side to side sway. Driving at 25 mph would feel a little safer in my opinion.

I have 14 " rims w/ 23 tires . No issues at 25 mph. It does give you a stiffer ride and you feel every bump. Kind a like going from SUV to a corvette on suspension, but very doable. I went to a 10" tire for the fields and woods.

That’s what I was considering. I currently have 10” rims with 23” tall tires. Seems like too much sidewall. I figured adding 4” of rim would help.
