I dont know for sure if this might be related to your problem but I have found 4 golf cart motors in the last 10 years that had the fields shorted to motor housing causing frame hot conditions? Test would be to unhook all motor cables to confirm.

The controller will spark, its charging the caps. It won't spark right afterwards because the caps are already charged. If you hook it up wrong in any way and spark its probably toast.

Thats all they sent me. I still don't know what to think about their diagrams. That one member....the guy who was out in Iceland on a Glacier thousands of miles from anywhere that had 2 new Bad boys....I don't think he ever got Bad boy to respond. I wouldn't recommend a bad boy to anyone after that.

The devil is in the details , if it were Bad Boy(s) one would feel much safer

Not sure we're ready for the troubleshooting guide just yet. We should probably take a few days and try to get our head around these diagrams first. Don't wanna go into sensory overload....

Everything is wired up right. But I think I've have more than just one problem. I found that the controller/solenoids/motor all pulls just a few volts. The solenoids still buzz's or hums a little. The cart still works so I think I'm going to put it all back together and send it back to its owners. I'm going to tell them the best thing to do is send it on down the line. I'm washing my hands with this while I'm ahead. Thanks Guys for all the help, Greg

Smart move,
U could always make it worse and then U would be expected to fix anything which happens for the next 10 years, a no win .
