Re: 1990 ez go electric golf cart
What type drive do you have, resistor or controller?
With either, the fist question is the condition of the battery pack. What is your battery pack voltages before you try to drive cart? A fully charged 36V battery pack will read 38.22V. A fully charged 6V battery will read 6.37V The difference between the highest and lowest battery in the pack should be 0.1V or less. What are the battery pack voltages when you try to drive cart? Supply the drive type and battery pack information and we'll continue from there if need be. |

Re: 1990 ez go electric golf cart
With the keyswitch turned off, the F/R switch un neutral and the parking brake released, can you push cart by hand.
It weighs half a ton, so it takes a bit to get it to move, but once moving it should roll freely with little if any drag. ---------- What is the voltage between the battery pack's main positive and main negative terminals? If you do not have a DMM (Digital Multi-Meter), get one. You need it to maintain an electric golf cart. Any inexpensive one in a blister pack from a discount store will suffice. -------- With keyswitch ON, F/R in either F or R and pedal depressed, does the solenoid click? |
