The first thing I did, living at the beach, was to take to my mechanic and have him totally undercoat it and check all weld spots and reinforce where needed. The second thing was to take off frame and paint floor with rustoleum black.
I then bought this great rubber mat for $35 from Lowes(4x6) and picked up the dash inserts at a dealer going out of business and bought the "pod" on ebay for $168 including shipping.
After removing previous decals with heat gun, I wiped down with denatured alcohol and used rattle can Fusion to repaint red.

Talking Re: stretching 1997 ezgo dcs

Thought I would post a couple more photos. I bought the lights at Harbor Freight for $8 a piece. Brush guard is one former owner made.
Son went to N.C. State and we're big Wolfpack fans so that's the emblem and why it's red.
Went to local salvage yard and bought Alpine cd/amfm for $15 and used speakers I had and put them inside the pod. Had read on one of the posts about using Lowes ventilation vents to put in holes of pod and they work great 6 for $11.
The wide tires are carlisle.
I'm waiting for the fabricator to do diamondplate rocker panels because I could not find stock ones on internet. Will post final picture when they come.

Love the way it came together. I too like the deals, the way you made her look like a MILLION for dollars. Awesome work. Ride the stretch with pride.

However in light of school pride, I understand your son went to NC State and all, but War Eagle colors would have been BETTER!!!

OR ............................CAMO!!
