Default PDS cart stuck in slow mode

I just rebuilt a flooded cart. Here are the details. Rebuilt motor, new speed sensor, rebuilt controller, all new wiring harness, new run/tow switch, new solenoid, new cables, new batteries, . The cart takes off normal then it seems to dump and will then only travel very slow. If you cycle the run tow switch it will take off normal again and then do the same thing. Any ideas?

Thanks,

Scott

No, it is the same switch. The water never made it that high. It goes forward and revers. It also dumps off in reverse.

Put the controller in diagnostic mode and maybe it'll give you a beep-code when it goes into the reduced performance condition.

Text on bottom of attached label tells you how to enter the diagnostic mode and what the beep-codes mean.

------------
Also, what is the battery pack voltage when it misbehaves? (36V is only about 50% SoC)

I'm suspecting the motor speed magnet might have something to do with this strange behavior ..... ?

Scotty, are you talking about the speed sensor or the magnet in the motor that drives the sensor? Can the magnet be replaced?

Thanks,

Scott

Sorry to revive this old topic but I have the exact same problem as described in this thread.

Flooded cart, replaced batteries and motor, measured all contacts in controller etc all seems fine, still dumps to slowmode after takeoff.

How did you solve this?
