Default Tire help

I'm ready to order new tires for my cart (pds 36v 909 package from Scotty b stock motor) I'm pretty much dead set on gbc grim reapers but not sure on what size 23/8/12 or 25/8/12 I don't off road a lot just mainly maintained trails and paved roads I just want to know what kind of speed to tourqe trade off I will be expecting between the 2 my cart currently has 22/10/8 all trails so I kind of expect very similar handling from the 23s just wondering how much going to 25s will change that and if 25s are too much for the rear end parts ie differentials bearings hubs and axle shafts as far as breaking

I'm running the 808B package (has DCX400 rather than DCX500) @36V with a stock motor at the moment and I get 24 MPH on 18.3" tires, which is about 5,500RPM at the motor.

Using your 22" tires as a baseline, your cart should be able to do about 29MPH if your amp delivery system (Controller, Solenoid and High-Current Cables) can pass the needed amps to the motor and your battery pack is capable of delivering them without the under-load terminal voltage dropping too far to reach that RPM.
If your Battery pack and amp deliver system are up to par, than going to a 23" tire will increase speed and reduce torque by 4%.
Going from a 22" tire to a 25" tire will increase speed and reduce torque by 12%.

Even with the existing 22" tires, the stock motor is being worked mighty hard, so you might want to be assessing the available aftermarket options for a replacement when it fails.

I've already planned to get a plum quick motor when this one fails I guess my main question is how unstable will this thing be on 25s vs 23s and they will be going on itp specter rims 12x7 3/4 offset

1.
2. The 23" tires will raise the center of gravity by 0.5" and the 25" tires will raise it by 1.5", but how much that will alter the stability, I don't know.

Hopefully some one that has tried different tire heights will chime in.

Generally speaking 25s are too tall for electric carts due to torque loss unless you go with 48v & a custom built motor stick with 22 or 23s. Also there is the question of stability. With 25's you will want to increase the width of the wheelbase.

Agreed without custom motor that may be too much torque loss for me any ways top speed is not as much fun as the acceleration.
