Default stuck wide open?

Friend of mine is having a problem and im clueless?
He has a 03 txt 36v
7 year old batteries
Cart is stock except a alltrax 400amp controler
Problem started yesterday
The cart is stuck wide open? Turn on the key and as soon as you put it in foward or reverse
The cart takes off ?

One thing to add!
I sold him my old alltrax non programmable 400 amp controller
About a month ago and it came off my 98 txt
Ever since we put it on his cart it dont seem to have any part throttle?
But it has worked that way every weekend?

Npx 4844 and it was programmed for i t s
Should it be set for 0-5k for the 2003? If so can it be sent back to alltrax and reprogrammed

NO any 98 and 03 cart take the same ITS throttle input so it's not the programming but it could be a problem with his signal.

Test the ITS signal at the controller. for Alltrax controls it is 10v when the solenoid just clicks and 6v when the peddle is all the way down. test by inserting probs in behind the black and white wires at pin #1 and 2 on the NPX controller

Also, remove the floor mat and open up the ITS box in the center of the floor. He might have a broken ITS microswitch as well as a jammed ITS.

I might be mistaken, but aren't the throttle connections on NPX and AXE controllers on pins 2 & 3 instead being on 1 & 2 like they are on stock controllers?
