I tested the voltage on the f&R switch per instructions and in Forward I get 36 volts on A. andnothing on the other 3 post. In neutral I get the same results. However in reverse I get 36 + volts at all studs except D. so my next question is where is the F&R switch position when checking for voltage at all the posts? So many variables...

You should have B+ (Battery voltage on) all four studs in either Forward or Reverse.
In Neutral, you will have B+ on A only. (A is the B+ source for the F/R switch)

BTW - Your problem is that the stationary contact at D isn't making contact.

You are exactly right I went ahead and took the f&r switch off and sure enough D post is sunk in from where it goes thru the Bakelite You guys rock and are nothing short of geniuses Thank you a million times. I love you guys b
