Default Torque specs for aluminum wheels

I have a very sneaky suspicion that santa is bringin some aluminum wheels tomorrow

Anyone know how many ft/lbs of torque required for the lugs?

They are ITP brand 12" wheels

Just guessing from an automotive background I'd say 65-70 ft lbs. -Mayor

Here is what ITP says on their website:

Lug Nut Torque Specifications

We are often asked, “How much torque does ITP recommend to secure the lug nuts on my vehicle?” It is not possible for ITP to answer this question. We have no way of knowing what grade of stud the various manufacturers of vehicles are using. Therefore we must refer you to your vehicle’s owner’s manual for the recommended torque specifications for your lug nuts.

EZGO TXT service manual says 50-85 ft-lb.

Thank you JohnnieB. I tightened them to 65 ft lbs for now. I will recheck after I drive for a bit.

Speedy....that looks awful! You need to take those wheels & tires off right now! You should send them to me.

Seriously, that looks awesome! Since my carts similar, you've helped me decide on a tire wheel package. Can you provide specs? 12" I think?

Your right muck.... Horrible choice. The stock wheels looked so much better! But I guess ill keep em for now

I got them from AACO golf cart parts on EBay. 12 x 7 with 205-30-12 tires.
