Lester charger timer,not auto

I have couple of old lester manual chargers,all need timers, my question is will a timer from Lowes work( the 12 hour timer that fits in electrical switch box)????

If you mean the ones that plug into the outlet and you plug a device into, they should work fine as long as it's rated for at least 15amps.

Like this one,I plan on installing this in place of stock timer,will this work?

if it was rated high enough amp rating to run a charger then why not, If it isn't then pick up a heavy 110 volt contactor at the home depot, have a timer turn that on. Iv'e seen those lester timers on ebay for those chargers.

That may be heavy duty enough. What amp rating is it? Your charger draws about 8amps ac when it's putting out 20amps dc. You can wire it into the "hot" side of the ac circuit in the charger. I don't know the cost, but like "Kb1sxv" said, you'd be better off getting the correct part!

Why don't you just order the correct part from lester?. I think the timer does more than just go by a set amount of time.
