Alright finally got a picture of the Engine... wish he would have sent me some cart pictures as well to Help MORE !!



What can you guys make out of this !? definitely a side by side twin based on the spark plugs and exhaust manifold

ok it is a EZGO TXT possibly 90s era

guess he had one too many before.

says one cylinder has LOW compression and other is fine.

I will post info and details over in EZGO gas see what those guys come up with !!

Just pulled one of those Robin engines tonight in a friends 2001 EZ Go. One cylinder had 40 lbs and the other 80 lbs but starts instantly and runs like a champ but also doubles as mosquito fogger :)

That cart has already been in a post asking questions about the low compression from a new member and he has received several answers.

he has been advised that most likely, the inlet valve in one side has sunk into the head and that the most likely scenario is that it has been run with the air filter missing as shown in the picture. Therefore very likely needa a rebore too.

Yeah swung it over to the E-Z-Go Forum once i learned it was one, so as not to taint the Club Car :)

EZGO TXT Low Compression on one Cylinder
all updates and info are there as to where I am at with him and his cart :p
