Unavailable anywhere brand new. You can check eBay, otherwise I'd stalk the Big Block forums. Many guys doing motor swaps are pulling stock KF82 motors (blown or otherwise) out with usable/operational coil units they'd likely be glad to unload.

Yup saw that prior to posting . Cdi is bad by process of elimination. They say don't use aftermarket but then say can't get oem. Sooo. ???? I guess I'll take my chances on another after market if I can't find a new one.

Very few KF82 are around me anymore. When the CDI fail, I tell customer not worth fixing. Due to the way the carts are used here putting in a aftermarket one is just asking for trouble and a come back.

Well that blows if someone has a perfectly good KF82 engine and only needs a coil. Someone needs to find a reputable aftermarket for these although prob not many of these motors still around at this point Im guessing.

I've got 5 KF82 motors (not all running though, and only one extra coil between them). I don't agree that they aren't worth fixing as long as you can do it on the cheap. They're good motors and I have no doubt there are lots of good coils sitting around in people's garages bolted to blown-up or unused motors.

Madgasser were you able to get a coil from one of the big block guys?

You think not being able to get a coil is bad, how about the poor saps who bought a gas Hyundai golf car and now can't get a single part for the Suzuki motor they had?
