Default Newbie with a G5 Sun Classic

Hi All,

I am undertaking my first cart project and it is a 94 gas sun classic. Mechanically it is in good shape but the body needs help.. trying to decide if I should have fiberglass work done on this one or try and replace it... Will any other body style fit on the G5 frame? Anyone know a source for body parts for these older carts? Any other help would be appreciated

They're rare, you'll be better off doing your own fiberglass work to repair the body damage. It's unlikely you'll find one very easily with a decent body, and even in non-running condition they still usually fetch some big bucks

And due to it's uniqueness, no other cart bodies will fit. It is a very unique and somewhat rare cart...

thanks all... Anyone have a digital owners or service manual they would like to share? Also, what should the top speed be on the gas G5 version?

Factory setting's around 13 mph, can be adjusted to around 20.

Governor defeated or spring flipped would get you over 20. But the spring flip can eventually destroy the axle when the gov fork comes off and goes through all the gears. I'm betting you have gov defeated.
