G19 Yamaha 48v
The A2 terminal and cable was hot to touch. The bolt and nut out of motor that A2 cable attaches to had about 1/8 play and would not tighten to the motor caseing.
The black A2 terminal wire tightens to the A2 stud ok.ls it normal for that stud to be hot Olddog |

Re: G19 Yamaha 48v
Time for a motor rebuild. It got so hot it damaged the insulator. All that heat came from inside the motor, which is the "smoking gun" for trouble in there. Unless it's just a totally bad setup like big tires, and/or big controller with stock motor. Either way, the motor was suffering & caused that.

Re: G19 Yamaha 48v
Spend the dough once & never look back. Your cart street, or offroad? Offroad is anything worse than a dirt road equivalent of a paved road, and "lift kit & 22" tires" automatically bumps you up to "offroad", most of the stock parts weren't built for that. (But yamaha did use good enough solenoids to support upgraded parts).
