Re: Radio Installation ???
Tom bought my marine speakers on Ebay. The radio came out of the toy hauler. The display doesn't always work so it's fine for the cart but I wanted the display on the radio in the trailer. We mounted the radio in the driver's side glove box on my cart. I like the detachable face ones but I've seen so many things get trashed on my daughters cart from the kids climbing all over it that I chose to put things where they would be protected. The radio is behind a closing door and the speakers are mounted on the rear fenders. I also like the sound better from there too.

Re: Radio Installation ???
Thanks for the compliments. Just "google" marine radio enclosure, you'll find boatloads of sites. Mine is a polyplanar as well as the speakers, I also hear Kenwood makes a nice enclosure.

Re: Radio Installation ???
Woodie,
The white bracket is mounted with one 3/8 bolt thru the alum. framing support for the glove box. I removed the door from the CF dash, made a template of the marine enclosure and cut it with a Rotozip. You can hide alot with black caulk! Anyway, nothing special just a few beers and a little imagination. Hope it helps. |
