89 Marathon question

Hello everyone ! The site is awsome ! I have a 89 Marathon 2 cycle I picked up for free just before it got scrapped. I rebuilt the top end and I have used it all year to push my sprint car around in the pits. I have this nasty rattle/buzzing noise that is irritating me . I see in other posts that there seems to be some cracking issues ...... where exactly does this occur ?

look closely around the base of the engine and all the welds on the muffler cradle. You may have to degrease and clean those areas thoroughly to see them but I guarantee there is some cracking causing the rattles. just lay some round stock in there and weld it up.

Thanks, I just ordered a lift kit for it also , we are off 2 weeks from racing so I guess its time to give the cart a little attention . How do you post pics on here ??
