For the front shocks I used Monroe 31069 without the shock extenders from the economy lift kit.. After dropping the axle 4" I made my own lower shock mounting brackets to move the shock mounting points out so that the shocks would clear the bumper. It worked out pretty well.

ok well it looks like im going to have to do some cutting i really didnt want to do .. but i think ill relocate the top mounts since the bottoms are nice in black powdercoate . Or just find shocks that should fit and sell the other ones i have .. Just dont know how to read the chart and took someones advise here and was wrong , :(...... o well lol.

Sorry to hear that Nate. I took the shock extensions firom the economy lift kit, cut one end off of it so it was "L" shaped, drilled a hole for a the shock mount rubbers, and a hole for a bolt so I could bolt it to the existing shock mount. Like you are finding out, when you drop the axle, it changes the angle of the shocks a bit and on my 89 the shocks hit the bumper mount. I can post a better picture if you want.

im thinking about spacers in the front but dont know if i will run into sterring problems ? ill have to wait and see later today ..

Here are the pics, it moved the shock mount out just enough to clear the bumper hardware.

hey thxs bud i just order new shocks i really didnt want to cut into my baby , lol. but it is looks good i bought a row of lights for the top of the cart , lol.
